The Channel of Desire: Our Desire Hungers Episode 1
Once upon a time there was she, and she was hungry. Searching for nourishment that no mundane meal could afford. The time has come for her to sip upon the sweet nectar of all that she deserves. Deservingness is born from a place of unwavering self-love with an openness to receive paired with a devotion to healing that which has held us back. Reclaiming feminine power and stepping into her queendom is an act of rising rebellion essential to her resurrection. Healing is messy and is a part of the human story. Most healing practitioners will tell you it’s an ever spiraling cyclic process in our life and with each spiral down into the darkness and every spiral back up into the light we become more well, more healed for ourselves, our ancestors and our descendants. It is not a perfection driven task but a task of reverence for our inner most journeys. This very personal place within is a container, a repository that holds our spirit, soul, flesh, blood and bones. We are an embodiment of the goddess herself filled with the glittering and sparkling worth that adorns her inside and out. A wise friend once shared a quote she had been using in her daily rituals and it said “I found god in myself and I loved HER fiercely.” Creating this container takes grit, it requires boundaries and an unwavering and undying love for ourselves. This world of oppression, shame, fear and guilt has her set up to fail herself but failure is not an option. Once you come to taste the deliciousness that is the divine feminine pulsing within there is no turning back, one who has sipped from the well of SHE will never be the same. This feminine mystery is elusive and has been vilified for her ability to be veiled and veiling but she is ready to rise in those of us that are willing. Are you willing?
Your Container: You have heard her call and she sees you. She invites you to enter your space, your inner circle with an open heart and an open mind. This is an exercise to learn how to hold space for yourself. To create a container and then police its perimeter fiercely. It demands of you to be ferocious in the boundary setting and loving in the inner corridors. Let’s begin by getting to know the energies of she within. We at the Mystic She Ways are channels of feminine wisdom and she has shown to us the beautiful spirals of energy that flow within. Hers is a spiral inwards one that does not require you to externally grind and work it is an openness to receive that touches each of our energy centers inside and with each turn inward she brings the energies of: being taken care of, being desired, magnetic attraction, an inward beam of self-love that fills us full, the in-breath of your greatest truths, knowing so strong it can rattle your bones and divinity lit brightly enough that it illuminates your every cell. This energy considered to be the passive or submissive face of the feminine is really the most powerful because it requires you to hold the container open wide and receive. To allow yourself to be pleased. The work is done on the inside shoring up the walls and policing the perimeter to be able to be a vessel for all that flows. What if the goddess is water? Water has emotional intelligence and an innate knowing of ways to get everywhere. We as spiritual beings living a human existence are made up of mostly water. Let us create for you a visual allowing you to envision yourself as the container. Within your container exists your deepest desires, those tender longings that lie ever present just under the surface. We will do a second exercise in episode 2 to work with discovering and playing with our desires but first we must build its container. Outside of the container is all the demons and lies trying to tell us we aren’t worthy. We do not shy away from our shadows but for this exercise and for the Channel of Desire’s purposes we must police the perimeter of our vessel strongly. To enforce against those voices which tend to whisper to us that we aren’t good enough. Begin by drawing your amphora, vase or vessel of yourself and on the outside write down the strongest voices that lie making little visual arrows showing them being bounced or reflected out. You could consider enlisting an ancestor, a deity or a spirit ally to help you hold this space as well. Label your inner corridor as “my delicious desires.” Think of one unwavering theme or desire that has repeated in your life such as the desire to be self-sustainable, the desire to paint, the desire to write, the desire to be loved and write that inside. We will work with more desires later but for now put that in the container and work with shoring up the boundaries against the lies. Goddess, you and your container are beautiful. Love it fiercely.

We have all met here ourselves in our deepest moments, in those days of great existential crisis, on the blackest nights of our souls. Here we stand ready to hold the space for ourselves to continue down this larger journey and for you to join us too. We wish for you to know the space as a womb of safety to unravel and rebuild. Whispers have been heard that the energy is so strong that nobody has ever managed to spend a full night there and even some of her past dedicants called in by her siren’s song have lost their minds with the overwhelming emotions she brings resulting in a fast turnover in previous personnel. However, like any good myth and story the story of our temple is an ever changing one, we have grown and we now have standing in her four corners of north, east, south and west four devotees who have labored to know her best. Together we hold the greater capsule of healing with our audacity and unwillingness to never settle for less than everything and we will hold the space for you to tap into your own fierceness to have your desires met.
